CHALLENGES

The challenge for Emineo laid in their online presence for the home shoppers who seek external service providers for safe packing of goods and delivery. The major concern identified in this field waste management  control and sustainable solution - o the service experience was in great need of improvement. Therefore, Emineo decided to move to a newly reformed closed manufacturing technique via our newly set up E commerce platform and redesign the website to meet the demands of an active online user. Also, a new, agile content marketing strategy was needed to create a future-proof shopping experience online.

WITH THE HELP OF BUSINESS INNOVATION MODEL

1.The domain business model – “permanent sustainable packaging ”

As a part of our strategy, we are providing customized packing for the home shoppers. This service provides an open end option for the customers, where the customers can order in for packaging based on the list of products they want to be packed.

This order is taken up by the company and customized packing facilities are planned with use of appropriate assortment of material, which should be able to provide one stop solution for our customers

 

2. Customers beliefs and their supporting notion

  • Belief were – “ where not all packaging can be sustainable “

  • Customized packing can be costly

  • They can have the notion where they will have to pay for the delivery as well

  • Their belief on packing for one time usage

  • They do not find the need of hiring a packing service, when they think they can do it by themselves

3. What if test

  • What if there wasn’t anything called sustainable ?

  • What if there wont be much of a demand for customized packaging?

  • What if they avoid the order because of pricing?

  • What if our business cant provide packaging for all the items they would want to be packed , eg : large items?

  • What if customers would opt for other brands over ours when it comes to sustainable packaging?

4. Sanity analysis

  • There can be a group of customers who question on the sustainability aspect which requires consistent  brand / cause awareness

  • To make the customers aware on the value additions in terms of pricing, product they choose and the impact

  • Demonstration can be a major key and effective / valuable feedback system from customers to strengthen belief towards the brand

5. TRANSLATION INTO A NEW BUSINESS MODEL

  • Concept – permanent packing for household products, which has a closed cycle from manufacturing to usage of our goods.

  • Value addition –

  • wastage will be at minimum rate %, and higher reusability.

  • Our brand would also focuses on those customers who seek permanent solution besides gaining new customers.

  • In terms of pricing, offers in terms of the size of purchase order.

  • Offers by providing referral code – discount offers

  • Brand / cause awareness – by printing out the process cycle of all our products we issue, emphasizing on sustainability and environmental impact.

  • Methodology –partnership with wholesalers and setting up of local warehouses and have third party vendors collect the packaging.

  • Restrictions –  type / size of products ( options will be provided in our e-com website.
